How To Clean Rubber Earbuds

How to clean rubber earbuds. The earphone stem is small enough to fit the gap in the middle of the staple remover jaws. Try method 1 first with gloves with good grip. Method 2 and Method 3 have a risk of breaking the earphone nozzle.
Then take an alcohol wipe and wipe the earbud and surrounding area. Tug gently on the earbud tip to try pulling it out. Keep re-applying on the rubber and rubbing with a cloth.
This is particularly important for wireless charging cases. Dampen a cotton ball or Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean any nooks and crannies. A wipe will do it.
This is what I use personally. Make sure not to get any liquid in the openings. To sanitize your earbuds wipe them down after each use with a rubbing alcohol wipe.
Rubbing alcohol dries lightning fast and wont seep into the bud. Clamp it around the flexible sleeve and gently pull upward. Wipe down the earbuds or headphones with cotton wool or ball dampened with the cleaning agent.
Here in Brazil we use coconut soap to remove these stains on white rubber it works really well. Rub the cotton ball on cable with soft hands. The vast majority of the time the earbud will pull right off.
